When you connect SumUp with your Shopify store, it enables you to sync your stocks across your Goodtill by SumUp POS and Shopify platform. You’ll be able to ensure that any changes you make on your Goodtill POS will be communicated and updated on your Shopify integration, ensuring accurate stock levels at all times.

How it works

Using your Goodtill by SumUp POS as the “master” source of stock values means that any changes to your Goodtill stock will be copied over to your Shopify platform.

The stock changes will be synced automatically every 10 minutes without needing a manual refresh
When an order is placed via Shopify, your stock will see the relevant reduction in your Goodtill POS
In cases of returns or order cancellations, your stock will also be updated.

You would then connect things up seamlessly using an app. Goodtill provides a Shopify app for syncing products and stock levels with Goodtill.

Features

Import products into Shopify from Goodtill
If you are creating a new Shopify store, the plugin allows you to directly import all Goodtill products, or a subsection of products, into Shopify, ready for sale on your online store.

Stock syncing
This app allows syncing the stock levels between Goodtill and Shopify, using Goodtill as the “master” source of stock values, which are then copied over to Shopify.

Stock levels will be in the following cases:

The stock values for all published products will be fetched from Goodtill and updated in Shopify roughly every 10 minutes.
When an order is placed in Shopify, the stock will immediately be decremented in Goodtill. The reverse is true in the case of a return or order cancellation.

Stock management
When stock syncing from Goodtill is active, any changes to stock level within the Shopify inventory interface will not be synced back to the Goodtill back office. The Goodtill back office should be used to manage the stock quantity instead.

Multiple locations

Can I connect more than one Shopify store to the same Goodtill store?
Yes, this will not cause any problems. If a product is sold in store A, the stock will be decremented in store A and Goodtill. Within the next hour, store B will be updated with the new lower stock value from Goodtill.

However, please note that we don’t support different Shopify locations.
